Susan Bender is a creative consultant and freelance stylist, she launched her career in fashion assisting Charlotte Stockdale.
Susan has worked extensively in the fashion industry styling many editorial shoots with publications including, Vanity Fair, GQ, Interview US, British Grazia, Sunday Times Style, D magazine, Jalouse, Exit and Russian Harpers Bazaar. Throughout her career she has collaborated with a host of photographers, film & video directors including; Rankin, Phil Poynter, John Akehurst, Ben Watts, Camilla Akrans, Jenny Van Sommers, Alexi Lubomirski, Lee Jenkins, Jake Nava, Simon Emmett and Bibi Cornejo Borthwick.
She has collaborated with the women's wear label Issa for over 10 years initially as a stylist and subsequently took on a larger role as Creative Consultant and Design Director she played an integral part in the designs worn by the likes of Madonna, HRH Duchess of Cambridge and a host of celebrities worldwide. Susan has worked on a number of advertising campaigns and commercials such as Max Factor, Rimmel, Toni & Guy, Revlon, Pandora and Martini. Her creativity and direction has led her to styling and consulting on catwalk shows for Dolce Gabbaba, Costume National, D&G, Preen, Issa, Sonia Rykiel, Swarovski Fashion Rocks including various music videos and celebrities.
With her impeccable sense of style, Susan has dressed and advised celebrities: Scarlet Johansson, Mary J Blige, Jessie J, Eliza Doolittle, Camilla Belle, Liz Hurley, Yasmine Le Bon, Courtney Love, Danni Minogue, Lindsay Lohan, The Kills and Roisin Murphy.

The GREAT Britain campaign showcases the best of what the UK has to offer to inspire the world and encourage people to visit, do business, invest and study in the UK.
Susan consulted and worked on the launch in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to promote the British fashion industry.

Teenage Cancer Trust is a cancer care and support charity in the UK that exists to improve the cancer experience of young people aged 13–24. The charity also serves as an advocate for teenage cancer needs, promoting related research and national and international forums. It also provides support services and education related to teenage and young adult cancer.
